What is CBD?

The abbreviation "CBD" stands for Cannabidiol. It is derived from the "hemp" plant and is the most critical cannabinoid in the "hemp" plant. However, it must be emphasized that CBD, in contrast to THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), has no psychoactive effect on the human brain.

CBD helps maintain various psychological processes by interacting with the receptors in the nervous system and the immune system. Besides, the body itself produces cannabinoids as part of the functions of the endocannabinoid system.
