cannabidiol: non psychoactive

naturally occurring compound

   Organic All-Natural & Ethically Sourced

IT ALL

 STARTS

WITH A

PLANT

Hemp is a more fibrous material that will bud. However, these buds contain very low quantities of cannabinoids. This product is usually cold pressed and sold as Hemp oil. Although some companies out there are selling this product as a Hemp CBD oil and even CBD oil.

Please make sure to check that the product you are purchasing contains the proper amounts of cannabinoids you desire.

MIXING THE RIGHT PLANTS

WITH THE RIGHT EXTRACTION METHODS

Cold Press Extraction:

Whole plant material is loaded into a giant press. The press compresses the plant until its essential oils, water, and other pytonoids (Plant chemicals) come out of the plant. The oil is then separated from the water containing components through gravity filtration. The oil is then collected. This is your fullest full spectrum oil as it has not been refined and contains a multitude of oils and phytochemicals. Since there are such a wide variety of components in this oil the levels of cannabinoids are quite smaller. 1ml of this oil has roughly the same amounts of cannabinoids as 1ml of a 250mg CBD tincture.

Distillate Processing:

Alcohol, Hydrocarbons (such as butane), and CO 2 solvents are used to extract cannabinoids from raw hemp. From there the oil is winterized in alcohol to remove the fats and lipids. The alcohol is then evaporated out to leave behind an winterized oil. The winterized oil is then put into a distillation thin film. This process uses heat and vaccume to separate off different fractions of cannabinoids. This process will dictate the purity and spectrum of the final oil. For instance one can create a cannabinoid full spectrum oil at the purity of 80% CBD 3% CBG 2%CBC 2%CBDA and 13% other essential oils or 90%CBD 1%CBC 9% other essential oils. Notice the first one contains more cannabinoid compounds than the second. This would make the first one more of a full spectrum oil than the second one. These oils are not technically true full spectrum as they do not contain all of the cannabinoids found in the plant and are referred to as broad spectrum oils.

Crystal Processing:

A solvent extraction is conducted on the CBD rich hemp. From there the extract is placed into a equipment that utilizes temperature and pressure to create crystals. That process usually occurs a couple times to purify the substance via a recrystallization reaction. The product is then refined to its purest state around 99.5% CBD. At this purity there is typically only trace amounts if any, of the other cannabinoids. This creates a pure CBD non spectrum product.
